How to Guide:

Assigning Australian Trade Training College permission to access USI transcripts

The following document is a guide to assist learners with assigning Australian Trade Training College access to
view their previous training which has been reported against their USI account. This allows Australian Trade
Training College to grant credit transfers for any previous training learners may have received and been recorded.

1. Log in to their USI portal via https://portal.usi.gov.au/student


 Learner will need to click the ‘I agree to the Terms and Conditions’ box and click ‘Next’.
 Input USI / email address and password credentials.
 (If credentials are unknown click on forgotten your password or USI).

2. Once logged in click on ‘Provide your USI’.

3. Click on ‘Add Organisation’.

4. Input Australian Trade Training College Organisation Code: 31399 and click ‘Search’.

5. Click ‘add’.

6. Click the ‘View Transcript’ and ‘View Details’ boxes and ‘update details’ if the learner wishes for us to update
details on their behalf.
 We recommend the learner to give us access for the full duration of their training i.e. apprentices 4 years
and trainees 1 or 2 years.
 Once all data has been selected click ‘Save’.

Please note that only training received from 2015 will be recorded, any training completed prior will need to have a
statement of attainment/certificate issued by the RTO. For more information relating to USI’s the learner can be directed
