Suramadu Bridge

The Suramadu Bridge (Indonesian: JembatanSuramadu), also known as the


Surabaya–Madura Bridge, is a bridge with three cable-stayed sections constructed
between Surabaya on the island of Java and the town of Bangkalan on the island of
Madura in Indonesia. Opened on June 10, 2009, the 5.4-km bridge is the longest in
Indonesia and the first bridge to cross the Madura Strait.

The cable-stayed portion has three spans with lengths 192 m, 434 m and 192 m.
The bridge has two lanes in each direction plus an emergency lane and a dedicated
lane for motorcycles. It is the first toll bridge in Indonesia.

A long ago in the river bank there was a little bear and crocodile. The little bear
wanted to cross the river. He asked crocodile to took him across the river. The little bear
jumped to the back of crocodile. The crocodile was swimming to the other side of river.

One day, the crocodile was very hungry. He wanted to eat brain of little bear. The
little bear was very scary. He had an good idea. “can you swim back to the river bank? I
forget to take my brain, I leave it in the top of the tree” bear said.

The crocodile swam back to the river bank. After arriving the little bear jumped
from back of crocodile. He climbed to the tree. “ now, where is your brain?” asked
crocodile. “you’re stupid crocodile, I lie to you” bear said.

The little bear laughed and the crocodile was very angry. Suddenly, when the little
bear laughed. He slipped out from the tree and he fell down.

The crocodile chased the little bear. The little bear ran to the river bank. After that
he jumped to the river. he drowned, he forgot he couldn’t swim. then the crocodile was
very happy and laughed loudly.

TARSIUS
Tarsius is a kind of animal Tarsius Genus or the Indonesian name is Singapuar, its
type from Tarsiidae family, only one that can still hold out from Tarsiiformes ordo. The
indication that tarsius, all of them is entered in Tarsius spesies. Actually must classified
into two group (Sulawesi group and West Philiphine or three different general (Sulawesi,
Philiphine and west group). Singapuar or Tarsius is a nocturnal animal, it’s kind of
insectivore animal and also endangered animal, that protected by goverment.
Although this group of yore have deployment that broad, all species that now life
in Island of South-East of Asia like Filipina, Sulawesi, Kalimantan and Sumatra. We can
found it in there.
Tarsius have small body and big eyes. Each of its eyes have diameter about 16
mm and measure of all brain. The length of head and body about 10 until 15 cm, but it
foot is almost twice of this length. Actually they have tail too it’s about 20 until 25cm of
the length. The radius is also longer. About the finger, in the end of their finger there’s
claw but in the second finger and third finger from the foot there’s paw to take care their
body. Tarsius’s fur is very soft and the color is brown. Talk about teeth, the Tarsius teeth
are very unique. The structure of its teeth are 2.1.3.3 and 1.1.3.3
It is also known as an animal eating small vertebrate like bird, snake, and bet.
Tarsius catch other insect with jump to that insect.
its pregnancy is about six month, then the Tarsius give birth to a new
individual/new child. Young Tarsius born furred with open eyes and able to climb within
a day after birth. After one year it become adult Tarsius and lives coupled.
