Greetings!

Good day Sir! We are the students from the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, College
of Science, Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

We are writing this letter to formally request the inclusion of two essential subjects, ENVSC 4399
(Special Problem) and ENVSC 4382 (Research Methods 2), in the subject offerings for the upcoming 1st
semester of the academic year 2023–24. This request is specifically aimed at allowing senior students to
complete the required units for these courses.

As a senior student in the Environmental Science program, we are aware of the importance of
completing all necessary units to fulfill the requirements for graduation. However, we have noticed that
ENVSC 4399 (Special Problem) and ENVSC 4382 (Research Methods 2) have not been consistently offered
in previous semesters, causing a delay in the completion of these courses for some senior students.

We kindly request your consideration and support in offering ENVSC 4399 (Special Problem) and
ENVSC 4382 (Research Methods 2) in the upcoming 1st semester of the academic year 2023–24. By
including these subjects in the course offerings, senior students would have the opportunity to complete the
required units for these courses, fulfill the graduation requirements in a timely manner, and prevent
overstaying.

We understand the challenges involved in planning and scheduling courses, but we believe that
offering these subjects in the upcoming semester would greatly benefit the senior students in the
Environmental Science program. It would ensure that we have the necessary knowledge and skills to embark
on our professional careers as environmental scientists without any delays.
