Answer 1. A global city" is a term used to describe a city that has significant economic, cultural, and political
influence on a global scale. Global cities are often centers of business, finance, trade, and innovation, and they
attract talent and investment from around the world. They have strong connectivity, both in terms of physical
infrastructure such as airports, ports, and highways and digital infrastructure such as high-speed internet and
telecommunications. Global cities are also known for their diverse populations, thriving art and entertainment
scenes, and high standards of living. Some examples of global cities include New York, London, Tokyo, Hong
Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Shanghai.

Answer 2:There are three cities in the Philippines that can be considered as global cities, namely Manila, Makati, and
Taguig.

Manila is the capital city of the Philippines and serves as the center of government, education, and culture in the
country. It is a bustling metropolis with a population of over 12 million people, and it is home to some of the
country's most important historical and cultural landmarks. Manila is also an important economic hub, with a
growing financial sector and a thriving business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. The city is well-connected to
the rest of the world through its international airport, and it serves as a gateway to other destinations in Southeast
Asia.

Makati is a city in the National Capital Region that is known for its central business district, which is home to many
of the country's largest corporations and financial institutions. It is also a major commercial and entertainment hub,
with a wide range of shopping malls, restaurants, and nightlife destinations. Makati is one of the wealthiest cities in
the Philippines, with a high standard of living and a well-developed infrastructure. The city is well-connected to
other parts of the country through major highways and public transportation systems, and it is also home to the
Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which is the country's main international gateway.

Taguig is a rapidly growing city in the National Capital Region that is known for its modern and innovative
developments. It is home to the Bonifacio Global City, a 240-hectare mixed-use development that is designed to be
a sustainable and liveable urban community. The Bonifacio Global City is a major hub for business, entertainment,
and culture, with a wide range of residential, commercial, and office spaces. It is also home to many of the country's
largest BPO companies, which employ thousands of workers in the city. Taguig is well-connected to other parts of
the country through major highways and public transportation systems, and it is also close to the Ninoy Aquino
International Airport.

to their significant economic, cultural, and political influence on a national and international level. These cities have
strong connectivity, thriving economies, diverse populations, and well-developed infrastructure, which make them
attractive destinations for business, tourism, and investment.
