INTRODUCTION:
Introducing different art forms at educational level would
be the most trust worthy medium of keeping a hold on the Past
and develop into a better future.A person is open to changes
and does not fear to venture . It becomes important to hold
workshops form them to relate to the fields.To provide an idea
of how one may shape their future by joining this particular
Industry.

In India has only three institutes of Performing arts with


potential for providing the necessary training.They are not
widespread throughout india which does not provide the great
opportunity to the population of India to learn the art.Therefore
necessary to develop a facility of national institution which help
cater causes requiring extreme attention.

AIM AND OBJECTIVE:


• Development of a performing art center providing the
requiredarea and infrastructure to be able to display,promote
and execute the various arts
• Designing a self-integrated and flexible space and to ensure
constant activity at the center invovling student and public.
• To create an architectural icon that provides opportunities
to a vast multitude of people to excel in the various art forms.
• It would also increase the base of education for many.
• This would form a base to kindle public interest in performing
arts and revive the past culture molding the future.
SCOPE:
• To create a dominating space emphasizing on arts and
drama.
• Project provides opportunity to explore the interaction of
various art forms in common man's life.
• It provides an opportunity to understand the universal
appealing nature.
• The institution would act as a local landmark and
provide memorable experience to all myriad users
ranging from researched scholars to teenagers and
office going people to the elderly are a part of the arts
and theater and hence, it directly relates to public

LIMITATION:

• A well-defined syllabus which covers fundamentals


and techniques across various dance forms .
• Comprehensive coverage that entails multiple
dance styles such as Jazz, Contemporary, Salsa,
Ballet, Hip Hop, Rock n Roll, Disco, Bollywood etc.
• Audio Visual Aids are provided to enhance the
learning experience.
• It focus Theory and Workbooks on Dance are
provided.

SITE PROPOSALS AND LOCATION :

• THE SITE IS PROPOSED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NATIONAL


INSTITUTE OF PERFORMING ARTS AND DRAMA FOR SOUTH INDIA.

• AS OF NOW THERE IS ONE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PERFORMING


ARTS EXIST ING IN ENTIRE INDIA WHICH IS LOCATED IN NARIMAN
POINT, MUMBAI

• GOVERNTMENT HAS PROPSED THREE NEW SITES FOR THE


PROJECT
1.DELHI
2.CHANDIGARH
3.KERALA

• AN AREA OF 8.8 ACRES HAS BEEN PROPOSED FOR THE PROJECT


IN EACH OF THE PLACE WITH AN ADDITION OF 5 ACRES FOR
PHASE 2 OF THE PROJECT BY THE GOVERNMENT.

• IT IS AIMED AT POPULARISING CULTURE, HERITAGE, ARTS AND


TOURISM.

DESIGN PROPOSAL:

• The design concept for the institute of arts and


drama is inspired by the fusion of art,technology,
and the vibrant cultural heritage of kerala

• The building will serve as a landmark, drawing


attention and inspiring creativity.

• The design will incorporate flexible spaces that


can adapt to different requirements, such as
theory class rooms,recording studio,performing
stage auditorium,art gallery etc...

• Ample natural light, ventilation, and acoustics will


be carefully integrated to create an optimal
learning and working environment.
