Invitation of Application for appointment of the Vice-Chancellor,
Patna University, Patna.
The Chancellor's Secretariat, Patna invites applications for the appointment of
the Vice-Chancellor, Patna University, Patna, Bihar from the persons
possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional
commitment.
1, The person should be a distinguished academician with a minimum
of 10 years of experience as a Professor in a University System or
in a 10 years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed
research and / or academic administrative organization with proof
of having demonstrated academic leadership.

Ten years experience will be considered from the date of issuance

of notification for the Professorship.
2. The candidate should not be more than 67 years of age on the last
date of submission of the application.
The last date of submission of the application is 27.08.2023 by
06:00 P.M.

Late and incomplete applications will not be considere.

The format of application and other necessary details are available

The Search Committee may invite the shortlisted applicants for a
presentation and a personal interaction for which no TA/DA shall be paid.
Canvassing directly or indirectly on behalf of any candidate shall attract
disqualification.
