The signalling pathway that I have chosen is endocrine signalling. This is cell signalling is

cellular communication between cells that transmit and receive information signals or directions
between itself and the environment. Hormones are the names of the molecules which send out

these signals and directions. The endocrine helps to produce and release hormones through

glands such as the thyroid gland which produces thyroid hormones while cells help to carry the

message through the blood stream in order to bring out its duty. The intracellular hormone

receptors contain proteins within the cell such as steroid hormones which help spreading across

the lipid bilayer membranes of the endocrine cell. This helps with transporting proteins within

the blood stream of the system outside the cell. However, steroid hormones also help with genes

on chosen cell's DNA. The plasma membrane hormone receptors are driven with amino acid-

derived hormones. This helps by only allowing substances that are eligible to enter the cell

passed through the membrane and block out unwanted cells to prevent any miscommunication

within the body.

map04911 Insulin secretion

Three alternative pathways for the insulin secretion includes:

 Lipase that aids in breaking down fats in the body.

 Amylase that breaks down carbohydrates in the body.

 Trypsinogen helps to break down protein in the body.
