PREPARED BY:
JEFFRIEL G. SISON
MASTER TEACHER I
As a secondary mathematics teacher, here are my
answers to your questions:

1. How do we more fully engage our students in the

learning experience?
To more fully engage our students in the learning experience, we
can use real-life examples to make math relevant and interesting.
Interactive activities, like group discussions and games, can also
boost their participation. Encouraging questions and providing
positive feedback will keep their curiosity and motivation high.

2. How do we ensure that we are equipping our students with

the skills needed to succeed in our technologically advanced
economy?
Equipping our students with skills for a technologically advanced
economy involves teaching computational thinking, coding, and
data analysis. Emphasizing problem-solving and digital literacy will
prepare them for success in a rapidly evolving world.

3. How do we broaden the learning opportunities we provide to

students in the areas of communication, creativity, collaboration,
critical thinking, and problem-solving?
Broadening learning opportunities in communication, creativity,
collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving can be achieved
through projects and real-world scenarios. By working in groups and
participating in hands-on activities, students can develop these
essential skills effectively.
4. How can we best leverage instructional technology to
enhance the teaching and learning experience?

To leverage instructional technology, we can incorporate

educational apps, online resources, and interactive tools in our
teaching. Technology can offer instant feedback, personalized
learning experiences, and access to a wealth of information that
enhances student understanding.

5. How can we redesign the learning environment to support

progressive teaching practices and immerse students in deep
levels of engagement?
To redesign the learning environment for progressive teaching
practices, we can create flexible spaces that encourage
collaboration and creativity. By integrating technology, hands-on
activities, and student-centered learning approaches, we can
immerse students in deeper levels of engagement and foster a
love for learning.
