INTRODUCTION

As the world becomes more


reliant on the internet, the
cybercrimes rate increased
drastically. Cybercrimes are
criminal activities that evolve
around using a computer or
an online networking platform
such as hacking, blackmailing,
and stealing important
secretive information from
companies and banks’
systems.

HOW TO ACT IF CYBERATTACKED?

To file a cybercrime complaint in


Saudi Arabia a person must follow the
following steps:

1. Report the crime at the nearest


police station.
2. The Police station will forward the
report to the Saudi Bureau of
Investigation and Public
Prosecution (BIPP)
3. BIPP investigates the identity of
the suspect.

must be securely encrypted and
never shared across cyberspace.
