Antifoam for pretreatment and dyeing  
 
 

Function  Silicone-free auxiliary to prevent foaming 

Properties  - very effective silicone-free antifoam and foam suppressant 
- suitable for use in print pastes 
- self-emulsifying in warm and cold water 
- very good deaerating properties 
- good pH stability in normal processing conditions  
- no dependency on electrolytes 
- suitable for application on jet units at temperatures up to 130 °C 
- improves the running properties of the goods 
- can be used in the heating and cooling phases (dilute before use)

Dissolving procedure:  can easily be diluted with cold or warm water 
Shelf life:  6 months in original closed containers.

Application   

  Dyeing 
Before use in dyeing processes, we recommend trials with concentrations of 
0.2 - 0.5 g/l Sera Foam M-MO. 
Ideally, Sera Foam M-MO should be added to the bath before the dyeing unit 
is loaded. 
 
Printing 
Trials with 5 - 10 g/kg Sera Foam M-MO should be carried out before using the 
product as an antifoam in print pastes. It does not have to be diluted before it is 
added to the print paste. 
Sera Foam M-MO is especially useful where process conditions prevent the use 
of silicone antifoams, e.g. in hot, alkaline liquors. 
Silicone antifoams are normally deactivated very quickly in such conditions but
