When sheep fall down on their backs, they can't get up. This is called a cast sheep.

They need
a shepherd to help them get back on their feet.

In scripture, Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepherd. He knows His sheep and His
sheep know Him.

Do you think when Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd that He knew there would be
times in our lives that we fell down and couldn't get back up without Him? He knows His
sheep.

I'm so thankful for the Good Shepherd to pick me up and set my feet upon a firm
foundation!!

Isaiah 40:11
11 He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young.

John 10:14
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me

Psalm 23:1-2
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
