Dear Sir/Madam,

I write to you to express my interest as a First Officer candidate for your airline, as this has been a
wish of mine for a long time. My certifications include full CPL & ME-IR rating, as well as a frozen ATPL
& APS MCC-certificate.

My choice to apply to Icelandair is to optimise my advancement in the aviation industry. Throughout

my education, I have developed into a hardworking and dedicated member of any team I am part of,
trying to achieve synergy and to learn from all people involved. Combining the theoretical and
practical side of flight-school was essential to me, as this allowed me to gain a thorough understanding
of what I was being taught. High average score of my ATPL-exams, successful practical exams, and
positive performances during the APS MCC-course led to my graduation from EuroPilot Center in March
2022.

Standing for quality-service, intercontinental travel and proudly representing Iceland, this airline
matches some of my personal beliefs. Advocating for multiple projects outside aviation such as the
IEnvA program, and being a climate-activist myself, there is more than just professional interest to
work for Icelandair. This would be the chance to learn in a positive environment, and build a long-term
career.

Gaining flying know-how in both Antwerp and California, I have gotten used to early starts and late
night shifts to mimic a real airline environment. Although I have not flown professionally yet, there is
an enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Working in a professional working climate with experienced Captains, First Officers and other
dedicated employees would benefit my development as a pilot to the highest degree. For this I am
willing to relocate, and provide you with a flexible schedule to maximise working hours. Considering
my academic performances and willingness to learn, I hope to prove my worth to the Icelandair team
soon.
