Topic:- Intro to Zero
Learning outcome: MA1.15 Apply the concept of zero to real-life situations
Objective :- Using Work sheet Children will able color and write the number zero correctly
Concepts:- Zero is used with countable nouns but not uncountable ones. It would not be usual to say “there is
zero water in the glass.” Instead, we would say “There is no water in the glass.” Example: There are four
marbles in the red jar but there is zero in the blue jar. Other examples: “The number of elephants in the Belize
Zoo is zero.” “The student did not know the answers so she got zero on the test.” “The red team scored three
goals. The blue team got zero.” “The chance of seeing cows falling from the sky is zero.”

Topic:-Ordinal numbers
Learning Outcomes:MA1.16 Identify the position of an item in a group using ordinal numbers from
first to one hundredth.
Concept:-Ordinal numbers tell the position of the object. Identify the position of each runner by the color of
their shirt.
Objective :- Using the worksheet children will be able to match ordinal words to numbers correctly

Learning Outcomes: MA 1.16 Identify the position of an item in a group using ordinal numbers from
first to one hundredth.
Concepts:-Ordinal numbers tell the position of the object. Identify the position of each runner by the colour of
their shirt.

Topic:- Odd and even numbers
Learning Outcome: MA1.17 Distinguish between odd and even numbers
Concepts:- An even number of objects can be divided equally into two groups or into groups of 2. If a group
cannot be divided equally, then it is an odd number. Six is even. Seven is odd
Objective:-Using Worksheet children will be able to circle all even correctly
Learning Outcomes: MA 1.18 Compose 2-digit numbers from groups of tens and ones
Concept:-Composing is building a number from its parts, such as from its tens and ones.
Composing numbers reinforces students' concepts of place value.
Objective:- With the use of Number bond and ten frame children will compose 2-digit number larger than 20
correctly.
Day 4
Topic:-decomposing 2
Learning Outcomes: MA 1.19Decompose 2-digit numbers from groups of tens and ones.
Concepts :-The ability to rapidly decompose numbers develops flexibility in understanding and
calculating with numbers. For example, later students will learn that 52+14 can be calculated as
50+2+10+4
Objective :- Using worksheet children will be able to the decompose number correctly.

Topic:-Ascending order
Learning Outcome: -MA 1.20 Sequence a set of number between 0 and 100, in ascending or descending order,
using a number line.
Concept:-A number line teaches the concept that numbers occur in a fixed pattern, not randomly. This means
that the order of numbers never changes. A six always follows a five, ten always goes after nine, and so on
Objective :- Using a number line children will be able arrange number in ascending order correctly.

Learning Outcomes:-SS 1.8 Identify reasons why many people like to visit Belize as tourists.
SS 1.9 Identify a major tourism activity or destination in each of Belize's six districts.
Concepts:-Tourists are people that visit places away from their homes. Tourists travel to rest and enjoy
themselves. Some tourists come to enjoy nature and the Maya cities. Many tourist come to Belize to see the
beauty of our country. Tourists like to dive in our beautiful reef. Tourists look for places that are peaceful and
clean.
Objectives: - Using worksheet children will be able color the map of Belize and label the correct tourism
destination correctly.
Using picture children will create a poster to promote a tourist destination in Belize and write a short
description.
Using poster made on day 2 children will be able to create a short will video to present tourist destination
using given grading criteria correctly.
Using worksheet children will be able to circle the correct answer.
