Reflection Essay
I am Dennis Arcel Yumul and wanting to be a Civil Engineer in
the future. It's been my dream course ever since I was a child. I do get
influence by my Godfather who works abroad and now have a good life.

Upon our interview, I learned a lot. My perception about Civil

Engineering changed. I got motivated in pursuing this course. At first, I
thought Civil engineering is only one job, but it's broad. There are a lot
of jobs that u can get when you get a degree in Civil Engineering. Also, I
realized that every small win and achievement we achieve, it's already a
process. After almost 6 years in High School, I finally made up my mind
on what I’m going to take a course in college. It might sound hard but I
will do my very best to make it. We don’t know what the future holds,
but as long as we’ll work hard for it, we will be successful.

We need to appreciate every small thing we do. I am almost in the

starting line in my journey and it might take a long journey but I will get
there. Despite of challenges and difficulties.
