1 Introduction
The purpose of this document is to outline how to register or change a smartphone, tablet, or device to enable
authentication using a One-Time-Password to the ComplyPro hosted environment.

1.1 Typographical conventions

The following typographical conventions are used in this document.

Click me - for text labelling user interface elements

Ctrl+S - for a single key or multiple key combination entered from the keyboard; all keys

2 Setting up OTP (One-Time-Password)

To access Bentley’s ComplyPro services Multi Factor Authentication is now required and the second factor is
by using a One-Time-Password.

• On your smartphone install either Microsoft or Google Authenticator.

• Or alternatively you can install a Desktop Application such as Twilo Authy (https://authy.com/) if you
don’t have access to a smartphone.

NOTE: You are only permitted to have one registered device.

2.1.1 Registering a device

To register a device please follow the instructions below:

• Browse to https://cp01-gateway.bentley.com/manageotp
• You will then be asked to authenticate with your username and password

• Simply type in your user name and password and then click on the Log On button.
• You will then be asked for a one-time password which will be emailed to your registered email
address.

• Enter the OTP Password from the email received and click Logon.
• You will then be authenticated and passed through to the Register Device Page.

• Click the Add Device Button

• Enter a device name and click Go

• You will then be shown a QR code.

• Open your Authenticator Application on your smartphone and add a new account by taking an image
of the QR code or entering the manual code.
• Click Done and you will then see your device shown as a registered device.

• If you wish to do a test you can do by clicking the Test Button and it will ask you to enter an OTP code
which you will get from your authenticator App.
• You can then close your browser and login to our services at https://cp01-gateway.bentley.com

2.1.2 Changing a device

• Browse to https://cp01-gateway.bentley.com/manageotp
• You will then be asked to authenticate with your username and password

• Simply type in your user name and password and then click on the Log On button.
• You will then be asked for a one-time password which will be emailed to your registered email
address.

• Enter the OTP Password from the email received and click Logon.

• You will then be authenticated and passed through to the Register Device Page.

• Click on the Delete Button to remove your existing device.

• Click Yes to Confirm deletion.

• Click the Add Device Button

• Enter a device name and click Go

• You will then be shown a QR code.

• Click Done and you will then see your device shown as a registered device
