Scholarship program in the Kingdom of Saudi

Arabia
The public administration for academic
scholarships
o Program description: The kingdom of Saudi Arabia offers academic scholarship to
international students of various nationalities.
The study covers all specializations except for the medical field, os well as the following
levels of studies:
1. Diploma in Arabic language
2. Bachelors
3. Masters
4. PhD
o Definition of scholarship: It is the academic seat that a non-Saudi student obtains to study
in higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
o Admissionrequirements
L The student's age should not be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years for the
university level in the Institute of Arabic language or anything similar. 30 years for the
master's level and 35 years for the doctoral level, and the educational institution's council
is no exception to that.
2. Obtain an agreement from the government of the student,s country.
3. The student must not have obtained another scholarship from an educational institution in
the Kingdom.
4. The certificates and documents must be certified by the authorities specified by the
educational institution.
5. Obtain a certificate of good conduct from the police.
6. Not to be dismissed from one of the educational institutions in the Kingdom.
7. To pass the medical examination according to the rules and regulations.
o How to apply for grants
Applications are made through the websites of Saudi universities
o Male and female students are accepted in all Saudi universities according to the available
specializations and grades. The percentage allocated to each university is SYo,except for
the Islamic University. The percentage for scholarship students reaches 85%

The language of study and the amount of rewards
Longuage of study: Theoretical disciplines are studied in Arabic, with a program that
provides teaching Arabic before joining the educational stage
a Scientific disciplines: Taught in English
a Monthly Allowance:
Students in theoretical majors (arts) are granted 850 riyals per month and scientific
disciplines 900 riyals per month. In addition in receiving allowance for equipment upon
the student's arrival of 3 months and a graduation allowance of 3 months.
