Introduction

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide schools maintenance week that is celebrated in the

Philippines every year. It is a time for all stakeholders in education to come together and
volunteer their time and resources to prepare public schools for the opening of classes.

The theme for Brigada Eskwela 2023 is "Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan." This
means "Volunteerism for a Strong School." The theme highlights the importance of the
bayanihan spirit, or the Filipino tradition of helping each other out, in ensuring that all
public schools are in good condition and ready to welcome students.

It started with a prayer led by Mr. Dennis V, Gutierrez. The singing of the Nationalistic
Song, CALABARZON March, Batangan Hymn, San Juan Hymn and CNHS hymn was
conducted by Mr. Reiven R. Bayta, MAPEH 9 Teacher. It was followed by an Opening
Remarks by Mrs. Julyve D. Untalan, Principal II. Presentation of BE Reports were
followed done by Chairperson for each category.

Establishment of Partnership for Resource Mobilization-Mrs. Noemi B. Cueto, HT I

Program Implementation- Mrs. Rhea S. Sadsad, G9 Chairperson

Handling of Administrative and Financial Matters- Mrs. Cecilia P. Verdadero, HT I

Documentation-Ms. Jessa P. Aguila

All the assigned tasks were successfully implemented through the collaboration and
cooperation of everybody.

For the closing remarks, it was given by our Guidance Teacher, Mrs. Melanie I.
Caponpon. The closing prayer was led by Mrs. Ederlina C. Umali, HT I.
HIGHLIGHTS

The activities that are typically done during Brigada Eskwela include:

 Cleaning and painting classrooms and school grounds

 Repairing furniture and fixtures
 Installing new equipment
 Planting trees and flowers
 Conducting health and safety inspections
 Organizing school libraries and laboratories
 Providing school supplies

Brigada Eskwela is a valuable opportunity for everyone to contribute to the improvement

of public education. It is a way to show our support for our teachers and students, and
to help ensure that they have a safe and conducive learning environment.

In addition to the practical benefits of Brigada Eskwela, it also teaches us valuable

lessons about community, cooperation, and volunteerism. When we come together to

Lessons gained from Brigada Eskwela:

Brigada Eskwela is a valuable tradition that has been going strong for many years. It is
a time for us to come together and show our support for public education. By
participating in Brigada Eskwela, we are helping to build a stronger future for our
children.
