Main responsibilities include the following
Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods
of support delivery, to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
Installing Desktop OS (Win XP/Vista/7/Win8), installing hardware, user applications for user positions;
building corporate OS images using Microsoft System Preparation tools.
Testing latest non-WHQL hardware drivers on existing platform for stability.
Dealing with desktop support issues.
Applications issues (Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Reader/writer, Sage & Quick Books); ensuring
applying essential updates & fixes.
Print issues (add new printers, forward prints, manage printing priorities & preferences)
Networking issues (IP related issues, cabling issues, network card issues, Network Switches)
Managing/troubleshooting Users accounts, user-permissions and rights on corporate resources and
Group policies.
Troubleshooting DNS/DHCP issues on Windows 2000/2003/2003 SBS/2008.
Support the following technologies: Microsoft Office 2007 products – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access,
Internet Explorer, Windows XP, desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers, NIC’s, basic
LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi connectivity and others as assigned.
Provide enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs
through the defined processes.
