Project Summary
• The Caterpillar Global Service Excellence (GSE) team led a Rapid
Improvement Workshop (RIW) in conjunction with the OLGA team and
Product Groups, resulting in the first phase of the OLGA builder file
component repair interval update
• The major component intervals of the top machine opportunity models,
representing nearly 65% of the current aftermarket solution opportunities,
have been adjusted to better align the aftermarket service opportunities to
actual maintenance practices
• Phase 1 details are summarized on the following slides
• Phase 2 is scheduled to begin in 2017
