Traveling on an unknown journey without the full description of the destination and terrain, or clear
and detailed direction can be very frustrating. In fact, it will amount to a waste of resources: time,
energy and money. Thank God that the invention of Google Maps has yielded results for most of us by
giving direction to unknown and unfamiliar destinations, even sometimes giving details of the traffic
situation along our intended route.

Likewise in the journey of life, we need the leading of the Holy Spirit to navigate and land safely. He
alone has the full details of the journey, including the challenges that may lie ahead. Divine means
“from God”, and Direction is the instruction about how to reach a place or do something specific. The
good news is that as Christians and Spirit-filled believers, it is our birth-right to be led by God
according to Romans 8:14. The Holy Spirit is the evidence of the presence of God in the life of a
believer. He purifies the believer and empowers us to walk in the Spirit and be led with precision.
The moves of God in this last day require the flow of the Holy Spirit and His manifestation in our lives
which in turn results in the empowerment of the church. (Act 2: 17-18)

Divine Direction simply means walking in the strength of God. The accomplishment of God’s plan and
purpose requires walking in divine direction in one’s life through the leading of the Holy Spirit. An
understanding of divine direction and walking in it helps the believer to cooperate with God’s leading.
In Act 1:8, it was the operation of the Holy Spirit that empowered the disciples to witness with such
profound boldness. This is because when God directs, He provides and protects.

WHY MUST WE BE LED BY THE HOLYSPIRIT?

 To make known God’s will for every believer. Jer 29: 11
 To keep us from destruction
 To keep us from seeing the corruption of this world (Psalms 16:10)
 So we can have peace and fulfillment.
 
 HOW CAN WE BE DIVINELY DIRECTED?
God speaks and leads though a variety of ways. Some of these include:

 The Word of God (Psalms 119:105): When we spend quality time with the Word of God, He speaks
to us through the scriptures by giving us a Word that dispels any kind of doubt and uncertainty in any
particular situation
 Godly counsel (Proverbs 11:14): God has placed people around us through whom He may choose to
convey or confirm an instruction to us. In 1Samuel 3:1-10, we see God using Eli to help Samuel
recognise His voice when He called.
 Intuition (Job 32:8): God sometimes leads us through our intuition. This is usually the case when our
minds are constantly tuned to the Holy Spirit. We begin to take certain decisions in line with His will
that makes it seem almost natural for us.
 Dreams & Visions (Acts 10:10 – 17): God also leads us through dreams and visions. Remember an
angel warned Joseph and Mary in a dream to flee to Egypt to avoid Herod’s evil plan (Matthew 2:13).

What’s Divine Direction:

Divine direction is simply when we act in full compliance with the directive of the Holy Spirit. As
Christians, we know that the Spirit of God can reveal itself in many ways. And These include dreams,
visions or through the still small voice, but He is not limited to these three ways. God can manifest in
several other ways. Most times, the Holy Spirit reveals to our friends or people he knows can relay the
message to us.In Life, Divine direction is needed in order to follow God effectively. In everything in
life, we need divine direction. Many have made costly mistakes in life because they were not being
privileged to have a divine leading from God.

Why Do We Need God’s Direction? 

We need his direction, because as human beings we are limited in knowledge. Deuteronomy 29 vs 29
states: “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong
unto us and to children for ever, that we do all the word of this law”.
Do you believe you can hear from God?
Yes you can. Isaiah 30 vs 21 gives us that confidence. It states: “And thine ears shall hear a word
behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to
the left”. The key words for us here is “ thine ears shall hear a word”…. This is the way, walk in it”.
When God gives a divine direction, he usually tells you exactly what to do. It is left to you to comply.

How to Access Divine Direction

How can one access divine direction?, their number of ways one can access divine direction but in
today’s discussion, we shall be looking at “OBEDIENCE”. Obedience, as withset to disobedience, is a
life-and-death matter. God has given humankind the instinct power of choice, the choice of obedience
leads to God’s promised blessing of life, while the choice of disobedience leads to curses, judgment,
and death. We read how God granted speed to Abraham servants in Genesis 24:27 And he said,
Blessed, be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy
and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.
It has been established that Divine direction is a key to distinction in life. That is why anyone who is
connected to God’s Voice will be a voice on earth. However, many people have missed their place in
destiny due to lack of access to Divine direction as a result of disobedience. Obedience is needed if you
must be lead by God. Now, a major pathway to accessing Divine direction is obedience. Obedience is
very important in knowing God’s direction for your life. As long as you are in the way of obedience,
you are in the path of direction. From our scripture above, we understand that when Abraham sent his
servant to his kindred to marry a wife for his son Isaac, the servant obeyed and found Rebecca. While
narrating the testimony of how God led him, he said, “I being in the way, the Lord led me…’ This
means that if you want God to lead you, be in the way of God’s plan for your life. Just as Abraham’s
servant obeyed his master, determine to obey the Voice of God in order to access Divine direction. God
directs the obedient.

God is the ALPA And OMEGA, the beginning and the end. there’s no joining you want to take in life
that he has not seen the end, so to make the right choice and step in life, is good you seek direction

Prayer is communication with God. have you told God about the step you are about to take? or have

God is not deaf, he is still answering prayers, communicate with him and he will guide and direct you.

 Being led by the spirit of God reveals our sonship, authority and dominion in Christ which helps us to
fulfil God’s plans and purpose for our lives. Brethren, open your heart, decide to be led by the Holy
Spirit, act specifically (fortified in the place of prayer), locate relevant scriptures, activate your faith
and listen to His voice as He leads the way.

However, you should note that divine direction and guidance is available ONLY to those who have
become born-again, Spirit-filled and have now committed themselves to being led and taught by the
Holy Spirit. You can also enjoy this wonderful privilege if you would confess Jesus as your personal
Lord and Saviour, ask for the in-filling of the Spirit, and then be determined to obey the Holy Spirit as
He leads you every step of the way!

earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven”
God be praised for bringing us into the month of July 2021. Indeed, it has been by God’s grace all the
way. The Unlimited God has given us a word of Divine Provision for 2021 and it has been so evident
thus far. God is faithful, and will indeed provide for ALL our needs in Jesus name.

As we have discovered in the month of June, God is truly unlimited in every ramification of the word.
He said in Psalm 50:10-12 that He owns every living creature on the earth, even the cattle on a
thousand hills! He also says in Haggai 2:8 that “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord
of hosts.” Wow! How so amazing!
Wealth is defined as an abundance of a valuable and desirable thing.  Notice that the definition does
not limit or specify what “thing” is, meaning it can be substituted by any “thing” literally. It is sad how
people in general limit the definition of wealth to abundance of money and
possessions. Kingdom refers to an organized community of people guided by a set of ideals and
values, collectively served by a common pool of resources and governed by a Monarch –a King or
Queen. When we talk about Kingdom Wealth therefore, we refer to the presence and abundance of
EVERY valuable and desired thing in the Kingdom of our Unlimited God, available to every
identified citizen of God’s Kingdom.
In our text, Jesus said He will give the keys of God’s Kingdom to the citizens of the Kingdom so that
we can have the authority to bind (i.e. cause to stop, place under siege) anything, and loose (i.e. cause
to operate, release) anything in both the earthly and heavenly realms! This is very instructive for every
believer as a wake-up call to remind us of our identity in Christ, the power that we carry and the
resources that are available to us.

What are some of the Keys of the Kingdom of God?

1. Identity (1 Peter 2:9): To enjoy the full benefits of a country, you must be a documented citizen of
that country. What is your identity? Who do you identify with?
 2. Dominion (Genesis 1:28): The exercise of dominion over circumstances and situations is a key
characteristic of a citizen of God’s Kingdom. Do you have authority to exercise dominion?
3. Prayer (James 5:16-17): Prayer is communication with God, implying that the conversation goes in
both directions. When we pray, we literally move out of the way and hand over the situation to God
who is the all-powerful One, with whom nothing is impossible!
4. Faith (Matthew 17:19-20): Faith is the key that unlocks the power of God to do the impossible.
Faith and prayer go hand-in-hand (Hebrews 11:1,6)
5. Fasting (Matthew 17:21): Jesus expressed clearly in this scripture that there are levels of kingdom
operations that cannot be unlocked except by prayer and fasting.
6. God’s Word (Matthew 4:4): Every Kingdom is guided by a constitution. God’s Word is the
Constitution of His Kingdom. By God’s Word He created the heavens and the earth and everything
is also sustained by the same (Hebrews 1:3).
7. The Communion (Exodus 12:13): The communion signifies the body and blood of Jesus. It is the
defense and cover for every citizen of God’s Kingdom.
8. Evangelism (John 15:16): Every citizen of God’s Kingdom has the mandate to expand the
Kingdom of God by recruiting more citizens of the kingdom. Jesus stated this as a guaranteed key to
answered prayers. Are you a soul winner?
The journey to operating in the fullness of the wealth of God’s Kingdom begins with salvation. You
have to change your identity by giving your life over and completely to Jesus, by confessing your sins
and forsaking them, confessing Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and be committed to grow in God’s
Word and in prayer along with other established citizens of God’s Kingdom. Just that simple! You will
now begin to operate as a bona fide citizen of God’s Kingdom with access to unlimited wealth and
resources that every Kingdom citizen enjoys.

 Thank you God for making me a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven
 Father! I receive the keys to the Kingdom of heaven in Jesus name
 Lord! I apply every resource available to me in God’s kingdom to meet every need of mine in Jesus

DIVINE DIRECTION
Proverbs 14:12, Proverbs 16:25- There is a way that seemeth right unto men but the end thereof are the
way of death
DEFINITIONS:
DIVINE: Like God or a god.
DIRECTIONS: Guidance or supervision of action or conduct.
-So from the dictionary definitions….divine direction simply means ‘’being guided by God’’.
Beloved we need to be guided by God because he created us and knows best where we are going. He
knows best why we are here on earth and he is the only one who knows the end from the beginning, he
is the alpha and the omega. Missing just one turn in life can cost you a lot of years, you waste a lot of
valuable time, and sometimes it can even destroy you or lead to death. It’s not everything that looks ok

now is because they got involved in things that God was not involved in. So what is it that qualifies us
to be divinely led?
KEYS THAT QUALIFY ME TO BE DIVINELY LED
1. DISCOVER GODS PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE: Rom 8:29-30
To be divinely led, you must first know where you are going, I mean where are you being led to? There
must be a destination. Beloved before God can guide us, we must take time to first discover why we
even exist. We are predestined even from the womb, there is a grand plan for our lives, he foreknew us,
he called us all for a particular purpose, he justified us and our portion is glory but we cannot see this
glory until we first locate our assignment. This is the first and most important key. So vision or purpose
is God’s plan for your life but divine direction is the steps you take to fulfil that plan.
2. BE WILLING TO BE LED…Proverbs 8:23- Directions from God are actually instructions that
come in the form of his word and the Holy Spirit. But are willing to follow these instructions? Because
sometimes what is demanded of us may be the most inconvenient time. Believe you me, most of the
men of God you see doing the craziest things are really called but their unwillingness to be led and
instead doing what they want has landed them into their own predicaments and they end up
compromising a lot just to entice members because God is not with them. Uncle Jonah ended up in the
belly of a fish not because he didn’t hear Gods voice, he did but chose not to follow Gods instructions,
the children of Israel where led by God throughout the wilderness but they got into so much trouble
each time they refuse to heed to an instruction and God called them a stiff necked people. A lot of us
are like that with God even now and I leave you with this one question, are you willing to be led by
God?
3. KNOW THAT DIVINE DIRECTION IS YOUR PROMISE FROM GOD-PS 32:8,ROM 8:14
As a born again child of God, Know that to be divinely guided by your heavenly father is a your birth
right.As long as you are properly born again, divine guidance is your right…you just have to believe it
and live with that consciousness unless you have doubts of your relationship with God.
4. THE WORD.PS 119:105
-A lamp is a light that is there to guide you in darkness and that is exactly what Gods word does for us.
It’s not always that you will hear the audible voice of God, sometimes God can give you a revelation
from his word and your spirit man bears witness that it’s an instruction from God. Gods word is the
most sure word of prophecy.
5. THE HOLY SPIRIT-COL 3:15
-Beloved each time you have an important decision to make and you don’t know what to do, pray about
it in the holy ghost, commit the matter to God in your understanding and then speak in the heavenly
language and if your heart is flooded with peace, then God is saying go ahead but of you have no
peace, please don’t go ahead. The spirit of God acts as an umpire in our hearts.
Divine direction is so important and should be lifetime experience, we make decisions every day and
God doesn’t tell us everything all at once no, so we must keep our heavens open to hear from from God
from time to time. Every major step we take in life should be traceable to an instruction from God. A
lot of genuinely called people are so frustrated now because everything they try is not working because
they lack Gods guidance. Its not everything you see working for someone that you must copy no.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING DIVINELY GUIDED?
1. ISAIAH 48:17-GUARANTED SUCCESS-When God leads you to a place, success is always
guaranteed. He can never lead you to failure.
2. DIVINE PROTECTION- EXODUS-23:20-23
For as long as the children of Israel stayed under Gods leading…they enjoyed divine protection and
angelic covering. When God is leading you, he will always dispatch his angel to guard you.
3. YOU DON’T STRUGGLE TO GET THINGS DONE.-PS 25:13
In life there is a way people can struggle, push and stress just to get one little thing done but when God
is involved, we enjoy sweetness breakthrough. We do things with ease. The bible says by strength shall
no man prevail, not by power nor by might but my spirit says the lord.
4. DIVINE PROVISION-PS:23
When God is your shepherd, he will lead you to green pasture why other are in dry and parched lands,
he will lay a table for you in the presence of your enemies and cause your cup to overflow…with only
goodness and mercy following you. While the famine was raging in the whole region, Joseph had
plenty because he received a divine instruction and put it to work.
TESTIMONY: DOC THEO
Beloved we will save ourselves a lot of valuable time and achieve more if we involved God in every
decision we make and allow him to be the captain of our lives. A lot of people are crying in wrong
marriages because they got married without asking God first. LET’S RESOLVE TO BE DIVINELY
GUIDED FROM TODAY ONWARDS.
PRAYER POINTS.
1. My father, in the name of Jesus, from today I resolve to be led by you. Take over the leading of my
life.
2. My father in heaven, forgive me for all the times I have ignored your leading or disobeyed your
instructions. I repent lord have mercy.
3. My, father in heaven, wherever I took wrong turn in life and destiny, help me to get back on the right
track and recover my wasted years.
4. My father in heaven, teach me to be sensitive to you leading, from today, may I never miss my
divine path again.
