Section A

Research work (30%): A research of ONE network communication technology

(Wired, Wireless, MANET, IoT, WSN, and Cellular) in terms topology/routing
protocols/standards.
Choose any one of the above said network communication technology and do
research in terms topology/routing protocols/standards.

Section A Consists of following chapters:

Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Literature review on (your chosen topic) and problem statement.
Chapter 3: Methodology
Note: It should include a review of literature on at least 10 research articles (not
older than 2017) from reputable sources, such as prominent journals and/or high-
citation publications, that cover a problem or difficulty in network
communications. The literature review must point out the flaws in earlier research
or studies. To create your problem statement, look for any gaps in the literature.
The methodology section is where you'll give your methodological analysis,
which should be systematic and theoretical.

Section B

Simulation (30%): Students should simulate the chosen topic by creating a

scenario and measuring performance metrics for at least "throughput" and "delay"
using any network simulator (NetSim/NS2/GNS3/Cisco Packet Tracer). The
paragraph about simulation is emphasized below. The results and discussion
section should provide convincing, well-explained, and analysis-supporting
outcomes/findings (such as simulation screenshots, graphs, charts, and descriptive
statistics).

Section B Consists of the following chapters:

Chapter 4: Simulation of the network for your chosen scenario.
Chapter 5: Results and discussion
Preferred Simulator: NetSim

Overall, the assignment has five (5) chapters as follows:

Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Literature review on (your chosen topic) and problem statement.
Chapter 3: Methodology
Chapter 4: Simulation of the network for your chosen scenario.
Chapter 5: Results and discussion
References

You are required to provide a softcopy of the documentation.

You can make assumptions to support your solutions, but these assumptions MUST BE
STATED in the document.

Your report must be typed using Microsoft Word. Expected length is 2,500 words
plus diagrams and with all references clearly indicated and provided using APA Naming
Convention.
