Learning Process Among Grade 7 Students of

Megabyte College Foundations, Inc.

ABSTRACT

This study explores the correlation between second language acquisition and
learning. It focuses on the impact of second language acquisition to the learning
process. Learners who are bilingual have advantages and disadvantages to how they
learn.
This research work aims to provide information about how learning a second
language impacts the learning process of students. This may provide information that
students can use in order to improve learning faster. And this is by learning the second
language.
The researcher will gather data from articles, news reports, journal and other
reseraches relevant to the topic. The reseracher may also use data from interviews and
surveys. When the researcher first started on this idea, common opinion on reading
materials and interviews was that it was a disadvantage to be bilingual. However, as
research has progressed more advantages than disadvantages of being bilingual have
been found.
In the course of data gathering, new ideas can be found and used by this
study.Furthermore, new ways children can learn through bilanguage can appeared.
Options can include but are not limited to parents and guardians, an immersion
program, and/or a dual/multi-language program. This data can be used after processing
and under going relevant research methodologies like correlation and other statistical
methods.
The researcher would like to recommend consideration of learning a second
language as a tool to improve learning . An important factor of language acquisition is
for children to be fluent in one language before they learn a second language.
Children that do not have a firm grasp of their first language combine two language
patterns and create a different language. The combining of languages causes them to
have challenges throughout their education. But when the learner is able to master the
first language and acquired a second language, more studies shows that the learner
learn in a faster phase. Learning a new language pushes your brain to get familiar with
new grammar and vocabulary rules. It allows you to train your memory to remember
new words, make connections between them, and use them in contextual situations.
