Joanna Aileen A Gentugaya, Municipal Vice Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 200 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING BARANGAY TAX ORDINANCE NO. 2021-01 OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF MT. DIWATA, MONKAYO, DAVAO DE ORO, PASSAGE OF WHICH BEING IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW. WHEREAS, the members of this august Body received copy of Barangay ‘Tax Ordinance No. 2021-01, series-2021 of the Sangguniang Barangay of Mt. Diwata, Monkayo, Davao de Oro, re an ordinance enacting the Revised Barangay Revenue Code Of 2021 of Barangay Mt. Diwata, Monkayo, Davao de Oro, on July 22, 2021, was presented for consideration and appropriate action; WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan is empowered to review Barangay Ordinances pursuant to Section 57. Review of Barangay Ordinances by the Sangguniang Panglungsod or Sangguniang Bayan, of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, which states that : (a) Within ten (10) days after its enactment, the sangguniang barangay shall furnish copies of all barangay ordinances to the sangguniang panlungsod or sangguniang bayan concerned for review as to whether the ordinance is consistent with law and city or municipal ordinances. WHEREAS, the said ordinance was referred to the Committee on Rules, Laws and Privileges, and per Committee Report No. 70, dated August 09, 2021, it was recommended for confirmation, the provisions of which are in accordance with law, thus this resolution. 1[Page103rd Regular Session 18th Legislative Council August 16, 2021 x WHEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Bayan Member Jocelyn Cabag-Burgos, duly jointly seconded by Sangguniang Bayan Members Allen L Cabag, Maria D. Ceniza and Kimberly Benazir May R Codilla, it was RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, CONFIRMING BARANGAY TAX ORDINANCE NO. 2021-01 OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF MT. DIWATA, MONKAYO, DAVAO DE ORO, PASSAGE OF WHICH BEING IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW. RESOLVED, FINALLY, that a copy of this resolution be furnished, the Sangguniang Rarangay of Mt. Diwata through Punong Barangay Pedro J Samillano; the Office of the Municipal Mayor Ramil L Gentugaya; the Office of the Municipal Administrator through Mr. Raul B.
