Social Media Report

Instagram:

The posts that did the best were our first couple posts (Countown info (115 likes), our first food
vendor post (Lemon heaven, 48 likes), first horse post (50 likes), and our first entertainment
post (VCS 66 likes)).
The rodeo posts often did really well (first post = 64 likes, second post 53 likes)
Reels did really well too (Wes reel = 50 likes, sponsor reel = 52 likes, Clover reel = 47 likes.)
Overall, food and entertainment posts did the best (example, LEGO = 51 posts, 1 st JoJo = 57
likes, 2nd JoJo = 52 likes, muralist = 52 likes, Rolled west coast ice cream = 106 likes.)
The posts that Daisy made during the fair and the highlight reel also did very well.

The posts that didn’t do as well were the ones with text in them (example, Fathers Day, “We
need vendors”, RCMP Musical Ride, Colouring contest, Canada Day, Out of Office.)
Also photos that look like they’re stock images didn’t do well.
Facebook:

Again, the posts that did the best were some of the firsdt ones we posted (1 st countdown = 106,
save the date with text = 60, 1st horse = 40, 1st rodeo = 61).
Photo albums also do really well, almost always getting over 20 likes.
Events also got around 20 likes each, and the rodeo one got 82. Rodeo posts were overall our
best for Facebook.
Animals and horse posts did better than on Instagram.
Indigenous content also did well (one photo/post of Arnie got 68 and another got 31.)
Food and entertainment were either really good or really bad. Ones with better pictures or
popular content (Example, Shandar hut got 79 likes) did better.
Reshares did not do very well, hardly ever getting over 10 likes.
Like Instagram, photos with text did not do well (Example, kitchen stage call out, Fathers Day,
out of office, volunterer, prize book, FAQ.) There are exceptions though (Canada Day = 23 likes,
Call for artists = 22 likes, and kitchen stage chefs = 23.)
Clover did better on instagram then on Facebook.
