Prerequisite -

Course To teach the students an overview of existing laws and regulations in Pakistan
Objectives mainly governing the Corporate Structure. The students shall be able to have a
basic idea about the core concepts governing the Corporate Organizations,
Partnerships, validity of contractual transactions in Islam and such other
relevant topics. Specifically, the following objectives are to be attained:

1. The characteristics of a business corporation.

2. How corporations are incorporated and administered.

3.The regulation of corporations by the SECP.

4. The different categories and kinds of corporations.

5. Corporate personality and the extent of the personal liability of

members of corporations.

6. The legal principles governing the external affairs of the corporation –

in particular, the contractual liability of a corporation.

Learning On completion of this course, the students will be able to:

incorporation, working and benefits of companies.

2. Apply principles of corporate law in a rigorous and principles manner.

3. Apply legal knowledge at an intermediate level using both primary and

secondary sources.

4. Understand the investment scenario in stock market.

ethical aspect.
