RE: THANK YOU FOR DELIVERING THE 4 LANE ROAD AS PROMISED.

We the Edai Town Action Group would like to thank you for prioritizing and delivering the 4
lane road from Baruni to end of Papa Lealea road as promised via your text dated 9th January
2023.

We learned in Today’s Post Courier newspaper that Trua Holdings Ltd has been awarded the
contract to design and do geotechnical investigations for the constructions of the four lane road
from Baruni to the PNGLNG project site at Papa. This a relief for the taxpayers and road users of
this section of this important highway, who have endured with deteriorating condition for more
than five years.

We are also requesting for the design phase to include Edai Ranu (Water PNG Ltd) water,
sewerage lines and reservoir to service close to 20,000 homeowners along this 4 lane road
corridor. Same will be requested directly with Water PNG Ltd Managing Director.
