Enhancements

Loop Manufacturing (EX CR CLM) Adapter
• Added array support to the Open Platform Communications - Unified Architecture (OPC UA) Adapter
• Replaced the open-source SDK used by the OPC UA Adapter with a Unified Automation Assemblies

• Added Opcenter Connect MOM Setup Wizard to allow installation of all components at one time
Internationalization Enhancements
This release provides the following internationalization enhancements:
Known Issues
The following are known issues in this release:
• Oracle Installation: You must add the Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll file to this location when using
the Oracle Database Adapter:
C:\Program Files\Siemens\MIO\Opcenter Connect MOM\Channel Adapter Host
• The values for Retry Count or Time to Live fields will be too low if the Channel Adapter Host starts
processing messages before the Opcenter Connect MOM IIS services have started.
• The broker service may report that the server does not respond during start up and then return a
broker_init message. This is expected behavior while all of the services (Configuration, Router, and
Mapper) are starting.
• The Siemens Web Framework (SWF) user interface times out after 20 minutes by default. This can
be changed by updating the value in the Authentication Expiry (minutes) field on the Settings
configuration object. The application must complete the current timeout period before the setting
modification takes effect.
• The application displays the user interface layout incorrectly in Internet Explorer 11 when the scroll
bar appears. Resize the window to remove the scroll bar and update the display.
• You can create filters for adapters and message channels that have identical names and sequence
order. You should ensure that each filter name is unique.
• The interface in Oracle environments displays adapter instances in the incorrect order if the adapter
names use mixed casing.
• A grid selected in one instance remains in edit mode even if another instance is selected.
• When upgrading from 2.2 or earlier, you must open each custom workflow in Opcenter Connect
MOM Workflow Designer and then save it. You must then perform an IIS reset.
• New adapters, maps, and workflows are not exported until an IIS reset is performed.

Security Information
Siemens provides products and solutions with industrial security functions that support the secure operation of
plants, systems, machines and networks.
In order to protect plants, systems, machines and networks against cyber threats, it is necessary to implement
– and continuously maintain – a holistic, state-of-the-art industrial security concept. Siemens’ products and
solutions constitute one element of such a concept.
Customers are responsible for preventing unauthorized access to their plants, systems, machines and
networks. Such systems, machines and components should only be connected to an enterprise network or
the internet if and to the extent such a connection is necessary and only when appropriate security measures
(e.g. firewalls and/or network segmentation) are in place.
For additional information on industrial security measures that may be implemented, please visit
https://www.siemens.com/industrialsecurity .
Siemens’ products and solutions undergo continuous development to make them more secure. Siemens
strongly recommends that product updates are applied as soon as they are available and that the latest
product versions are used. Use of product versions that are no longer supported, and failure to apply the latest
updates may increase customer’s exposure to cyber threats.
