    2. Reflection

    - Have an interview with at least two(2) ESP teachers in Grade 1 to Grade 6 handling above and below
    average class respectively. Find out what IM’s do they prefer to use to apply in their respective class/es
    that improve their student/pupils academic performance and/or values formation. How? Why?

    Teacher 1 prefer using print type of instructional materials like textbooks, hand-outs because she
    believes that students who read print books score better reading comprehension and retention scores
    than those who read the same material digitally. And print resources improve reading attention and
    cognitive focus.

    3.Considering your grades in every quarter for EsP last year, what helped you improved your
    performance? In your own opinion, from all the instructional materials used by your teachers, which
    do you think is the greatest and/or of the least of value on relevance as to teaching/learning EsP?
    Why?

    -Based on my experience last year, giving them extra handouts to study with their parents helps me to
    teach much more easier because they already have idea on what our lesson will be. For me, audio visual
    instructional materials are the best when it comes to teaching Esp but I’m still learning when it comes
    into the use of gadgets.

    -For me, audio visual learning materials are the most helpful. It speeds up our discussion and it is not
    hassle for me to use because all it takes is just one click. I highly suggest using audiovisual because it
    stimulate the students and also helps to boost their focus.
