Reaction on the first 100 days of PBBM
President Marcos Jr. upon keen observation on his first 100 days in office shifts to concentrate on
establishing the tone for his administration and stating his top priorities during his first few
months in office. He gives higher priority to things like social welfare programs, infrastructural
improvements, economic growth, and governance reforms. Influenced by his Father the late
Marcos who aligned his cabinet into a revitalizing form of government in which selected
vacancy positions in each department come from the predecessors of former Presidents as well.
President Marcos Jr. also established proposed economic measures that encourage investment,
job growth, and sustainable development. To achieve long-term stability, this might entail luring
foreign capital, fostering trade ties, and carrying out economic changes.
The growth of transportation networks, energy systems, and digital infrastructure has been on on
the forefront agenda highlighted by the president in terms of infrastructure. Enhancing
connections among the nation's regions could spur economic growth and improve individuals'
quality of life. As he wanted to regain the agricultural domain, particularly in rice sufficiency he
led the Department of Agriculture to promise for affordable food for all and one of those few is
making the rice fall to P20.00/Kilo.
Given that since then players of smuggled rice and political business enmity with Marcos and the
government have always been a challenge way back after the Marcos era and started to loosen
the momentum of agricultural performance when the Aquino regime entered until the recent
governance.
Marcos wants to have regional storage facilities all over the key target agricultural bowl location
in the country to mitigate the wastage of food, especially in managing supply and demand.
There have been continuous issues in the disputed island with China which remains to become
an issue of National sovereignty and international implementation of the law of the sea.

It is quite early to make concrete assumptions and judgments as to whether the government is
handling it well in line with the many pressing problems on Education, Budget utilization, the
justice system, and even on the goal of economic sustainability and government transparency.
Additionally, President Marcos Jr. also plans to give social welfare initiatives targeted at
reducing poverty top priority.
