Client #1

Ms. Cathy Walsh is 40 years old, is married with 2 kids, and is from the UK. She is a registered nurse
with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of London. She worked in the UK as a registered
nurse for 15 years. Two years ago, she was offered a job in Victoria, BC, as a registered nurse in a nursing
home, so she came to Canada under a work permit and has since worked in BC. She was registered in BC
soon after she arrived and started practicing nursing.

Today, Ms. Walsh wants to determine if she can stay and work in Canada permanently. She loves living
in BC, and her family wants to stay here and make Canada their home.

Which program do you think she should apply under?

The second client is joining us by video conference through Skype. Mr. Wang is from Guangzhou, China.
Mr. Wang graduated from high school when he was 18, and because his family had no money to pay for
his college tuition, Mr. Wang started working after high school. He worked as a carpenter for a while and
soon became skilled at his trade.

When he was 25, he became a contractor for a big construction company in Guangdong. Five years later,
he started his own construction business. He now has 150,000,000 RMB in net assets. Mr. Wang has
been managing his own Business for 9 years. He wants to immigrate to Canada with his family but he
doesn’t want to run a business in Canada – he just wants to come and enjoy life here with his wife and
kids. He is willing to pay whatever is required to be here with his family.

Next, we are meeting with a world renowned singer from Italy, Ms. Orlando. She has won many awards
in singing and is recognized by fans all over the world. She wants to move to Canada and continue her
singing career. She has a plan on how to run her business in order to support herself in Canada.
