Activity 1 Essay: Be able to explain in one to two paragraphs on why Teaching is


one of the most demanding of all professions.

One of the hardest-working jobs is teaching. This is the case because the genuine
instructor never stops instructing; it is always present within and around you, 365 days
a year. Being a teacher is a full-time profession. After a school day is over, you go
home and grade the week's worth of tests while also creating lesson plans for the
following day. The entire summer, in addition to the rest of the year, you prepare
classes, projects, assignments, and assessments. It requires a lot of dedication, long
grading shifts, lesson planning, kid-awareness, and subject-matter expertise.

Activity 2 Critical Questions: Reflect and write your answer to the following
questions
1. What are the characteristics of an ideal teacher?
 An ideal instructor should be able to communicate well, keep his lessons
engaging, and be a good listener as well.
2. What talents and skills do you have that can be shared or used when you become a
full-fledge teacher?
 By being humorous and adding some jokes to your lesson, you may keep the
class lively and encourage kids to pay attention.
3. Think of teacher whom you consider to be talented and skillful in his/her teaching.
How do his/ her talents benefited his/her teaching?
 Because we students become easily bored if the lectures are too serious, some
of my lecturers benefit from being effortlessly humorous when lecturing.
4. Do you believe that teachers are treated unfairly compared to other professions?
 Yes, mostly because teaching is one of the cornerstones of the community since
instructors prepare students for their future careers while other occupations have
considerably higher salaries than teaching..
5. What are the problems and issues related to teacher’s character and behavior that
you are aware of?
 Pupils prefer professors that are approachable, and I believe that successful
teachers are also good listeners. If you don't listen to your students, they may
lose interest in your class..
6. Identify an expert teacher. Set an interview with him or her. What made him/her as
an expert teacher?
 Being conscious of his actions, keeping an eye on them, and modifying his
teaching methods to get the best out of his students.
