I was thrilled to hear you opened a post for an English lecturer. I am an education professional
with several years of teaching experiences. In addition I hold a Bachelor degree in English
with GPA score 3.51.
In my current role as an Potencial teacher at Ensino Secundario Sagrado Coração de Jesus
Becora, Díli which is hosted by Pilot Project #SEAReaders (Southeast Asian Readers)
programed by YEASILY 16 under USA Embassy, I teach students how to become a good
readers in the future.
In addition, I did internship programmed at Fundasaun ASSA by UNDP’s youth Employment
and Entrepreneurship skills (YESS) Project in Partnership with SEFOPE and KOICA, I teach
an English language to the staff of Hospital Nacional Guido Valadares (HNGV), the
University students at Fundasaun ASSA as well as teaching courses in English composition.
With this, I am keen on learning communicative teaching methods and I always use this
method for teaching an English language. I found that using this method student can practice
different formal and informal interactions through games role-play and problem solving tasks
because learning language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning,
when learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language
acquisition will be used and this will allow them to learn to use the language.
I am strongly organized a creative, dynamic classroom and coursework to students and am
always prepared for my lecturers. Further, I am a patient and resilient personalities with
dedication due to students and education also I always find it interesting when speaking in
front of groups and sharing my knowledge with students. My teaching style is electic; I strive
to offer a variety of lecturers to appeal to all types of learners. I therefore would be thrilled to
bring my unique abilities and talents to Instituto Superior CRISTAL particularly in English
Department as an English lecture.
