TRANSFER GOAL: Learners, on their own, will create a Budget Meal Plan to make
correct decisions in buying goods by applying concepts of fraction, decimal, percent,
ratio, and proportion.
 
 
 
“WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE?”
 
July is the national nutrition month and this year’s theme is "Healthy Diet Gawing
Affordable for all". One of the events of the school is the Nutrition Caravan Competition,
wherein each class will propose a healthy meal using ₱ 7 000.00 as the budget. As a
budget planner, you will be given a list of prices of the goods in the market. Plan what
you will prepare for the competition. You will present a PLATE, to the class which
models how much food everyone will get and how much each plate will cost. Make sure
not to waste anything! The food must be healthy, presented creatively with correct
computations. You should also relate your product to the theme.
