As Pyypl continue to grow, we are looking for a highly curious and energetic Group Head of People &
Culture to build and develop our people function by driving people initiatives and programs that have
a direct impact on employee engagement and performance as we scale.

you will be responsible for the happiness and growth of our people.

What will you be doing?

People Operations

You will be responsible for the management and execution of our group people operations function.
The role reports into our Interim Chief People Officer and you will manage a Senior Talent Acquisition
Specialist & HR Admin. Responsibilities include:
● Ownership of all people operations processes including onboarding, payroll, HRIMS
implementation and upkeep, performance review cycles, compensation and reward, HR legal
and regulatory compliance including updating all policies and procedures
● Optimizing our employee lifecycle from attraction through to our Pyypl alumni
● Constantly look at how we can continually improve our people & HR activities
● Designing and implementing people strategies that help drive business results and employee
growth & development
● Helping with the implementation and management of our HRIMS
● Acting as a HR business partner to help guide the management team on complex HR and
people related issues
● Using people analytics to gain data that helps guide decision making
● Communicating at all levels in the company and support growth and change management
Culture
● Be our Pyypl Culture Champion, ensuring that we live and breathe our core values in
everything we do to help drive engagement and company performance.
● Creating a culture playbook that reinforces our mission and values, encourages continuous
feedback and drives growth and development.
● Planing and organising company people events such as; town halls, off-site meetings and
milestone celebrations
● Supporting the management team in cascading communication to employees on the
business objectives/goals, and any milestones reached!

Talent Acquisition
● Ownership of the overall recruitment strategy, headcount planning and improving our
positioning as a talent magnet for top talent
● Managing a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to design and execute recruitment strategies
to attract top talent from around the world with an exceptional candidate experience
● Using recruitment metrics to measure the performance of the talent acquisition function

What do you need to be successful in this position?


● University degree in BSc Psychology or related subject
● Minimum 7+ years experience within a people operations and talent acquisition role
● Proven people manager who is entrepreneurial, extremely structured, and process driven
● Strong experience in successfully implementing HR & people initiatives/programs
● An excellent understanding of all the complexities of attracting, retaining and developing all
levels of employees.
● You are a critical thinker and excellent communicator with very good active listening skills
and a high EQ
● You have an extraordinary ability to build relationships with all levels within a business and
are able to use active listening, psychology, internal communications and processes to
improve organizational performance
● Previous experience with HRIMS and ATS tools for high growth tech companies
