Introduction

The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the

growth of the Information Communication Technology
sector.ICT is the dynamic field at the intersection of
information technology and communication networks. As
people around the world were forced to adapt to remote
work, online education, and virtual communication, the
demand for digital tools and services surged. This led to
several key changes.The pandemic acted as a catalyst for
the growth and innovation within this sector.

ICT involves the utilization of technological tools to gather,

transmit, process, and manage information. From
smartphones to cloud computing, ICT shapes how we
interact, work, and access information in our interconnected
world.

Data Science

Data science is an interdisciplinary field that involves using

scientific methods, algorithms, processes, and systems to
extract knowledge and insights from structured and
unstructured data.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a popular web browser developed by

Google. It was first released in 2008 and quickly became
one of the most widely used web browsers due to its speed,
simplicity, and user-friendly interface.

Inspirational Figures:

Jack Ma
Jack Ma is a trailblazing Chinese entrepreneur who has
made substantial contributions to the realm of Information
and Communication Technology. He is the co-founder of
Alibaba Group, a conglomerate that reshaped global
e-commerce. Through platforms like Alibaba, Taobao, and
Tmall, Ma pioneered online marketplaces that bridged the
gap between buyers and sellers worldwide.

Elon Musk
Elon Musk is a well-known entrepreneur and CEO of
several companies, including SpaceX and Tesla. Elon
Musk's ventures have certainly had an impact on various
aspects of ICT.

Google Docs is a cloud-based word processing software

developed by Google. It allows users to create, edit, and
collaborate on documents online.

Teleprompter

Teleprompter is a device used to display a script or text for

a presenter or speaker to read from while looking directly at
the camera or audience. It helps them maintain eye contact
and deliver a smooth presentation without needing to
memorize their lines

ChatGPT

ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI,

based on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer)
architecture. It's designed to generate human-like text
based on the input it receives. ChatGPT can be used for a
wide range of natural language processing tasks.

Yiaai is a new app that has been developed since then, it

could potentially serve as an introduction tool to help users
learn about technology.

Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new

Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality is a technology that overlays digital

information, such as images, videos, or 3D models, onto
the real world in real-time. This is typically achieved through
the use of devices like smartphones, tablets, smart glasses,
or headsets. AR enhances the user's perception of their
surroundings by blending virtual content with the physical
environment.

Conclusion

This workshop provided participants with a comprehensive

overview of Information Communication Technology and its
sub-topics. Participants learned about the role of Data
Science in extracting insights, gained insights into the
contributions of Jack Ma and Elon Musk, explored the world
of ChatGPT, discovered the collaborative capabilities of
Google Docs, delved into Artificial Intelligence, and
explored the realms of Augmented Reality and Virtual
Reality.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the diverse

range of topics covered and highlighted the practical
applications of virtual reality.The interactive nature of the
session and the practical insights gained will contribute to
our knowledge and application of ICT in the real world.
