Preliminary Activity

I will let you do something. Please follow directions.

Make an art work that you like most to do, (Drawing, Paper folding etc)
Make it very nice that you want to display it or show to your family and friends.
Say something about your art work. (Show it in picture)

What do you feel after you had completed your art work?

Are you proud that you were able to make a beautiful one? Why or Why not?

Do you feel a strong degree of ownership of your art work? Why or Why not?

Now, I’ll tell you one thing. I want you to slowly destroy, crumple and step on your work.

How do you feel now that your works have been unreasonably destroyed? Why do you
feel the way you do now?

Discussion

Let us now compare your art work with nature.

Like you, God created the world, full of happiness, pride and determination to protect,
preserve and continually improve it.
Nature is ours and nature gives us a lot of benefits. Sad to say, there are others who
don’t love nature.

This why there is a need for people to become Ecology literate and Environmental
literate..
