With Effect From 15 March 2015, all the applicants need to lodge their visa application according to their jurisdiction.
Jurisdiction for applicants applying from North and East India comprising the states of: New Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh,
Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand,
Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Tripura, Sikkim and West Bengal.
The place of issue of a passport or the permanent resident mentioned in the passport does not determine the jurisdiction but it is the
current place where an applicant resides that determines whether he/she belongs to a specific jurisdiction.

Application Form should be filled completely in BLOCK LETTERS(including any email id)
Please note that if an agent comes to apply on behalf of an applicant who has a VIS visa then the agent has to produce a notarised
authorisation letter (Specification mentioned in the website)
For Minors both parents have to sign on the application form, declarations and other supporting forms and checklists. Third party
collection of passports is not allowed.
Applicants can pay via debit/credit card (American Express card not accepted).
Please note, VFS Global is not responsible for any damage that may occur to the passport once visa application has been processed by
the Embassy/Consulate/Mission. If you notice any damage to your passport during collection at the visa application centre (Loose
binding, missing pages etc.), please notify a staff member , who will inform Embassy/Consulate/Mission of the matter.
