1. INTEGRITY OF CHARACTER- It is a fine sense of ethics, justice, and righteousness with a readiness to
apply it to one’s own conduct.

2. Willingness to accept responsibilities- Acceptance of responsibility signifies a desire to lead and this
desire is strengthened by increasing interest.

Other Characteristics:

1. Competence to employ superiority over an enemy at all times.

2. Making the best use of resources requires the highest type of managerial and organizational skills

3. The ability to inspire subordinates to strive for the highest peak of performance.

QUALITIES OF A GOOD LEADER

The ability to lead is a collection of skills and nearly all of which can be learned and improved.

According to Zueleta et al(1999), the essence of leadership is followership.

Maxwell(2002) state that what matter most is not whether one influences someone, but, how one will
use that influence.
