Children are often introduced to the identity of Jesus as a strict god who punishes or doesn’t allow them
to heaven if they do something wrong.

Another problem might be, when people are in a very difficult situation, they loose hope. They believe
that if there really is a God, then the horrible things in the world shouldn’t have happened.

Is it easier for Filipinos to embrace/accept Jesus' divinity or his humanity? Elaborate your answer.
I believe that it is easier for Filipinos to accept the divinity of Jesus. Because the people are highly
religious, they associate a lot of things with miracles, the saints, and God’s plan. It is easier for us to
think about Jesus as someone who is special and chosen by God, rather than his humanity which is
closer to sin and imperfection.
