 Admit under my service.

 Diet:
o DAT
o NPO
o DAT then NPO if w/ symptoms
 Monitor vital signs Q1, FHT and uterine contractions q30 and record please.
 Baseline CTG and hook intermittently.
 IVF:
o Mainline: PNSS 1L x KVO
o Hook as side drip: 1. D5W 1L + 20 grams MgsO4 to run at 50 cc/hour
2. D5W 500 cc + 5 grams MgsO4 to run at 100
cc/hour for 4 hours then discard remaining 100 cc
 Diagnostics:
o CBC w/ Platelet Count
o Urinalysis
o BTRh
o Na
o K
o BUN
o Creatinine
o SGPT
o SGOT
o LDH
o UPCR
 Therapeutics:
o Give MgsO4 4 grams/IV as loading dose
o Methyldopa 250 mg/tab, 2 tabs Q8
o Give Dexamethasone 6 mg/IM q12 x 4 doses (if preterm)
 DTRs q4 please.
 Insert foley catheter.
 WOF: Decreased breath sounds, hyporeflexia, difficulty of breathing, headache, blurring
of vision, dizziness, epigastric pain, watery vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding,
decreased fetal movment.
 Refer to Dr. __________ for anesthesia.
 Refer to Dr. __________ for pediatric care.
 Refer accordingly.
