ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
School – Based Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session 6
School Year 2022 - 2023
Gawad Kalinga High School conducted the monthly LAC Session in the 17 th day of March 2023 at
exactly 7:15 in the morning at SHS Building - Computer Laboratory. The session begun with singing of the
nationalistic song led by Ma’am Nancy B. De Mesa, an Opening Prayer led by Ma’am Cherry C.
Bueno, Recapitulation was given by Sir Dennis Cereno, Checking of Attendance was led by Ma’am
Emalyn B. Mago, Food for Thought was given by Sir Sammy Boy C. Babasa. It was followed by an
energizer given by Sir Emerson P. Jerez.

After the MOL, the session proper begun. The facilitator called
the 1 st discussant to talked about PDET APPROACH: Positive
Discipline in Every Teaching, none other than, Sir Romeo D.
Cause Jr. - JHS Teacher at GKHS. He started his talk by making
the participants to answer questions with PD or not PD. The
participants actively participate in the discussion by answering
his every question with enjoyment visible in their faces.

thanking everyone who helped her in preparation of MOVs during the search for Best Brigada
Implementer SY 2022-2023 and she delightfully inform everyone that we got the third place on the
said event.

Participants were asked to proceed to Ma’am Francia’s room to eat the delicious lunch
prepared by the Committee on Food. Afterwards, the session continued.

this day, Ma’am Shalimar B. Agua - JHS Teacher
at GKHS that will talked about Ethno-Pedagogical
Teaching: Its Application and Features inside the
Classroom.

She focuses her topic on how we deal with indigenous learner in our institution. We should
be careful in dealing with them specially in their culture as it is important to them. We must not
discriminate them in any way.

Last but not the least, the 4 th discussant,
Ma’am Rhodora S. Reonal - SHS Teacher at
GKHS who talked about The Hows of Critiquing
Research Paper and Handling Oral Defense of
Learner. She is a research teacher in the said
institution. She provided her listeners with tips
on how to critique a research paper specially the
advisers of research of a certain group of
students. Her topic is very timely because there
