Independence Day Anchoring Script

Honorable Chairman Abdul Ziyad Sir and Secretary Jamal Kunju Sir, Our respected Mentor Sunitha Ma’am
and Principal Jassiya Ma’am, beloved teachers, non-teaching staff, parents and my dear friends, good
morning and happy Independence Day to you all! I would like to welcome you all on the behalf of our
school to our Independence Day celebration. I would like to express my feelings through the following
lines.

“Freedom is not the gift but the responsibility to accept and maintain it to hand over to the next, freedom
demands sacrifices and it is not the thing we achieve once and forget.”

Now our School Choir will give a musical welcome with our special prayer song.

Really it was a very sweet welcome song full of affection and joy.

I can feel the air full of patriotism and enthusiasm on the occasion of this Independence Day celebration.
Our most respected Secretary Jamal Kunju Sir will do the flag hoisting ceremony. I would like to request
our Sir to step forward to do the honours.

Thank you, Sir; flag is the symbol of our national pride and values. Gracefully waving, it makes us feel
proud and lucky to be its followers.

Now I would like to request our Chairman Ziyad Sir to deliver the Independence Day message on this
great occasion.

Thank you very much sir for your motivational and inspiring words.

Now our Deputy Head Boy Safwan T M from class XIB will do the Declamation based on the famous ‘Tryst
with Destiny’ by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Thank you Safwan for such an amazing rendering of the ‘Tryst with Destiny’.

We are going to launch and Anti Drug Campaign in our School. We are striving to declare our campus and
its vicinity as ‘Drug Free Zone’. I invite Haseena miss for the same.

Let’s conclude the wonderful celebration with a Vote of Thanks and for that I invite Ruby House Captain
Afreen CM from class XIA.
