I usually watch films on the weekends. I like to watch action films and I
really enjoy watching it in my free time because it keeps me busy.

I usually listen to music in my car and at home. I like to listen to hip hop

Hello Sam, how are you? I studied history in university and I really
enjoyed it. I would like to continue learning about history.
Miguel: Welcome. Can you tell me something about the history of your
country?
Hi Miguel, yes of course I can tell you the history about my country,
Saudi Arabia was founded in 1930, it is almost 100 years old.
Michelle: who is your favorite person from history, and why are you
interested in him or her?
My favorite person in history is our prophet Mohamed PBUH, Muslims
all around the world want to follow in his footsteps, he is the
messenger of Allah.

Hi Star, I want to improve my speaking skills in English. It is really
important for me to learn English, it is used all over the world.
Star: it’s great isn’t it! How have you found the course so far? What’s
been difficult?
Yes it is great, the course has been easy so far I’m really enjoying it. So
far I am having problems with the reading tasks.
Star: Me too! What are you hoping to do when you finish the course?
I want to work in the hospital but I have to take an exam called Aptis, In
order for me to pass I have to achieve A2.

I have a small family, it’s me, my brother and father. We like to spend

Hi, I joined because I live alone and I like to cook, I don’t like to eat out.

I think I’ll go 3 times a week. I usually work on the other days. 3 days
will be more than enough.

I think the price of the classes are expensive, it should be cheaper for
students like myself.

Hi Jim, I heard about the club from a friend, he recommended that I
should join this fitness club. I would really like to get back in good
shape.

I expect to get back in shape. My target is to lose 10 kilos in 4 months. I
just wanted to stay fit and healthy.

your opinion on the facilities so far?
The facilities look good so far, however, the fitness hall looks small if it
was a bit bigger it would have been better.

Hi Sam, hope you are well. I chose to study math and English. I want to
be an accountant in the future therefore, I need to study math and

Hi Miguel, I really like the college and the facilities in the college. The
food in the cafeteria is amazing, the staff and students in the college
are friendly.

you think about this?
No, I didn’t hear about it. I was looking forward to attending the gym
and some of the fitness classes. It is really disappointing.

messy and dirty. There aren’t many flowers in my garden.

Hi Miguel, gardening isn’t very popular in my country, I’m from Saudi
Arabia. As you know, Saudi Arabia is known for the desert.

Hi Michelle, My favourite season is winter. I live in Saudi and it is always
hot in Saudi Arabia, during the winter season it is nice and cool.

The last book I read was a book called ‘ Aptis’, it was a really interesting
book and I really enjoyed reading it.
