“Thing you do not usually do when done every day, becomes usual-and this usual becomes a practice”.

Action research enables teachers to reflect on their practice to improve it. This also allow them to develop a
more energetic and dynamic environment for teaching and learning, articulate and build their craft knowledge,
and recognize and appreciate their own expertise. Furthermore, Action Research serve as bridge to connect the
gap of learning and be able to provide the students the competencies they need to cope with the demand of the
fast-changing world.

Action Research provides opportunity for teachers to develop curricular instruction. This will equip them with
the knowledge and strategic skills which they can use to deliver quality instruction at the same time improve
learners who need special attention. Through AR, they will able to improve their strategies in teaching that will
make them efficient and effective teachers and eventually love Research as well.

By the proper dissemination of the results of action research through series of LAC Sessions, other teachers will
be informed and be able to adopt the culture of research. Thus, the support system of the colleagues and the
school head serve as motivation to the teacher-researcher in making research studies happen.
