CHAPTER 1
BACKGROUND OF PKL AND PLACE OF FIELD WORK
Background of PKL
PT. Sutanto ArifChandra Elektronik (PT SAE) started his business in 1990 in Sokaraja,
Banyumas, Indonesia. PT SAE began to show excellence in audio-video cable technology
through research, production and product development. Now, PT SAE has grown to become
the largest audio-video cable manufacturer in Indonesia which concentrates on coaxial cable,
consisting of series, RG, 3C and 5C. The latest achievement achieved by PT SAE is the
awarding of ISO 9001 certification and URS recognition of the quality system implemented
by PT SAE.

Our success is primarily based on a business philosophy that always prioritizes quality
products, fiscal freedom and long-term relationships with consumers. If these things have
been achieved, reliability becomes a benchmark for assessing a company. PT SAE has long
had a reputation as a company capable of providing reliable and trusted solutions. This
reputation is rooted in our ability to control all aspects of development including trials and
production processes carried out within the company.

Quality assurance is a motto that we always adhere to in the production process. Our strict
quality control system includes 100% function testing of all production with reference to ISO
9001:2015 standards. What's more, we are intensively cultivating Six Sigma Quality, which
is a control method to eliminate all product defects or errors in processes and transactions that
take place in our company.

PT SAE believes in financing growth by leveraging the company's profits and so far has
implemented it consistently. Good infrastructure, low operating costs, and product diversity
enhance our ability to roll the economy and create profits for our company. By paying close
attention to the process of financial stability that we have been able to maintain so far and
with experienced and dedicated technical staff, PT SAE can truly be trusted and relied on for
its existence into the future.
