Specifically, CI/CD introduces ongoing automation and continuous monitoring throughout the lifecycle
of apps, from integration and testing phases to delivery and deployment. Taken together, these
connected practices are often referred to as a "CI/CD pipeline" and are supported by development
and operations teams working together in an agile way with either a DevOps or site reliability
engineering (SRE) approach.

What is a CI/CD pipeline? A CI/CD pipeline automates the process of software delivery. It builds code,
runs tests, and helps you to safely deploy a new version of the software. CI/CD pipeline reduces
manual errors, provides feedback to developers, and allows fast product iterations.

Tell me about a time you analysed a complex situation and came up with a successful solution.

New Policy and Standard framework that we implemented, we have policies that have been provided
by Government that are long and time consuming and sometimes difficult to digest.

We decided to break down the policy into an easy one pager that had the key takeaways. By doing
this we found that the adoption of the policy was higher as the understanding and day in a life was
bought to the attention.

Reconciliation tool for Data Quality – complex data and analytic requirements, converting from
PowerBi to this new platform. Gap in the coding and was able to escalate and hire the ‘gap’ to ensure

Took on a project as someone left the team.

Business readiness assessment, the challenge was that the assessment was showing some gaps
before Go Live (as ServiceNow implementation for Employee onboarding/ off boarding from a
business perspective, we had an implementation partner that had been focused on the technical
(green) but not the business side.

I had emailed the sponsor about the assessment and success criteria we needed to complete to
XXXXX and he wanted to included the implementation team in the response. This was a organisation
discussion as it also included resourcing. The email was a little heated.

My response was to ensure that the team will work together to achieve the outcomes needed. My
role then was to meet 1:1 with the Director/Sponsor to discuss the roles of sponsor/ types of
conversations and provided data to support the analysis that has been assessed. The Data was ablwe
to show that we could be succsefful but had to change tact. Once this was shown and we had
agreed a plan we were able to move forward in a professional and successfully went live as
anticipated.

Understanding that there were external stresses.

Principles with team and vision / sponsor – sprint goals

Accpac complex identified gaps in set up and was able to rectify working with the business and
translated back to development team as requirements.
