Holy Moly Donut Shop is a Sole Proprietorship which means that it is a single-owner,
unincorporated firm having no legal separation between the proprietor and the company. In this
type of business, the proprietor and the company are viewed as being one and the same.The
reason this was chosen is because the simplest type of business to start is a sole proprietorship
because there are no registration requirements.Along with this there are many benefits like; It is
an easy way to conduct business and uses less time, money, and effort. For those like me who
wanted to start a small business on my own rapidly, this type of business was perfect. In
comparison to other forms of businesses, the number of tax forms and registration documents
needed is small. A sole proprietorship can be established more easily than other business
formats, even though registration procedures differ depending on the state or industry. As a sole
proprietor, my given name serves as the official name of my company. There are two methods
to proceed if I want to modify this and run my company under a different name. The Patent and
Trademark Office website is the first place where I can register a trademark. The procedure
normally lasts 90 minutes without the need for legal representation. (Checking the Trademark
Electronic Search System beforehand to make sure another business hasn't already registered
under my preferred name is a good idea.) There is no cap on the amount of employees I can
bring on board. As a sole proprietor, there is no cap on the amount of employees I can have,
which enables me to expand my team and clientele without formally incorporating my company.
There are dangers involved because being a sole proprietor, I am responsible for the
compensation and welfare of my employees.
