Injection gate

pressure = 3E+5 Pa
state = 1 (open=1, close=0)

• Launch Visual-Environment 12.5

• Set Default application to RTM

• Click OK

• Select Case_07_start.vdb and Open it

• Select RTM/Simulation Parameters

• Set the Simulation Type to Filling


(Default)

• Select Resin_New_1 to inject from


User database
Note: Resin_New_1 has been created in Case_01,
user can create it by if it is not in the material
database

• Set the Type of Output Frequency


to Step, Frequency to 10

• Click Apply

• Click Close

• Select RTM/Import Draping Files

• Click to add mapping file

• Click to open the mapping file

• Switch type of files to PAM-FORM file

• Select Case_07.dsy and open it

• Click Map Results

• Click OK to apply mapping

• Click Yes to proceed

• Click Apply

• Switch Type to Pressure to create a


pressure boundary condition

• Click to Define Region

• Select Node as the region type

• Close Define Region panel

• Define the pressure condition

• Switch Entity to Layer

• Select Shear Angle as


Display Items/Contour

• Select ply_1 and click

• Click Close
