GOSI Monthly Contribution Salary Change
GOSI Monthly Contribution Salary Change
Symptom
General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) generally restricts changes to contribution salaries to
January (for employers following Gregorian calendar). Recently, GOSI has allowed employers to update
contribution salaries of their employees during the year. Employers are allowed to do so under the following
conditions:
• Must first be updated to GOSI in January to account for salary changes from the previous year.
• Must not be back- or future-dated to GOSI in relation to the employee salary change.
• Can be decreased as long as it is not less than the salary being reported in Wage Protection
System.
Currently, the system only takes into account salary changes for the month of January.

Solution
The enhanced solution provides an option for customers who want to follow the recent option given by GOSI
for changing the contibution base of eligible employees.
If you want to use monthly GOSI contribution updates in your system, modify subschema Import Additional
Payments/Deductions (KSA) (SAP9) by disabling subschema Social Insurance (SIAC) and enabling
subschema Social Insurance-Applicable Earnings Calculation - Monthly (SIAM) instead.
To receive the enhancements required for the solution, please upgrade to the corresponding support
