Graphics Guide
INTRODUCTION

This document is intended for all Partners who have


signed an agreement with Brembo S.p.A.

The term Partner only refers to distributors (Official


Partners), retailers of Brembo Aftermarket products
(Official Dealers), workshops licensed to sell Brembo
Aftermarket products (Brembo Experts) and retailers of
Brembo Performance products (Technical Centers and
Racing Points).

The Partners are the only persons licensed to use the


intellectual property, logos and content of Brembo
S.p.A. in their communications, either in accordance
with the terms and conditions of this Manual or on the
basis of a specific agreement underwritten with Brembo
Communications Department.

The Communications Department can provide Brembo


Group logos in vector format (.ai and .eps extensions) or
bitmap format (.jpg extension), together with the tables of
detachable samples of corporate colours.

Brembo Partners are classified by field (distributors, retailers, workshops), product type (Aftermarket or
Performance), or type of vehicle the products are fitted to (car or motorbike).

In all its communications, the Partner may only use the Brembo logo that refers to its partnership type.

APPLICATION ON COLOURED BACKGROUNDS
The Brembo logo maintains red wherever there is adequate contrast with the background and there is
no clash with the colour. In all other cases (backgrounds of similar intensity or irregular photographic
backgrounds), the logo is reproduced in white, taking care to ensure adequate contrast.

PRESS COMMUNICATIONS*
The visual “weight” of the Partner’s logo and the Brembo Partner logo must be the same.
The distance between the two logos must be as large as possible, in relation to the available space.
Both logos must be horizontally and vertically aligned, never diagonally. Under no circumstances may
the logos be placed one above the other.

SEPARATION OF LOGOS*
The two logos may be separated horizontally, by inserting between them a vertical line of suitable
thickness. Colour: 60% black on light backgrounds and 30% black on dark backgrounds.

However, the two logos may not be divided aligned centrally.

DOMAIN NAMES
Brembo S.p.A. is the sole proprietor of the official Brembo trademark and all related trademarks.
This grants Brembo S.p.A. full rights to the second-level domains containing the word:

BREMBO
for example the names: www.brembo.it / www.brembo.fr / www.brembo.__

If a Partner has registered a domain name that conflicts with this Manual, the conflicting name must
immediately be assigned to Brembo and replaced with a name that conforms to these domain rules
listed herein.

In addition, the word BREMBO may never form part of the Partner’s domain name:

Brembo S.p.A. holds the same rights to the words:

these terms (eg., brembobrakes, brembocalipers, etc).

GRAPHIC LAYOUT OF PARTNERS’ SITES
The graphic layout of the Partner’s website must not be similar to that of the website www.brembo.com,
nor may it contain any graphic features that would lead the user to think that the Partner’s site was a
spin-off of the Brembo site, or that it was a foreign language version of the Brembo site or the site of a
particular division of Brembo. The use of the following features, borrowed or derived from the Brembo
site, is therefore strictly prohibited:

communications.

In order to standardise all its advertising materials and align the distributors’ activities with the corporate
image, Brembo has developed a series of advertising pages in various formats. These can be pre-set
and customised with the details of the various uses.

OTHER PERMITTED USES
Any use of the official Brembo logo for communications, promotional or merchandising purposes must
be agreed directly with Brembo Communications Department.

For example:

Should the Brembo Communications Department authorise the requesting Partner to use the official
Brembo logo, the Partner is strictly bound to comply with the rules listed in the following pages.

LOGO ANATOMY
The Brembo logo is comprised of 3 elements:

– symbol (letter “b” / wheel fork);


– “brembo” logotype (lower case lettering);
– circle-R (denoting registered trademark).

The fixed and specific relationship among these three elements must not be altered in any way.
Accordingly, only the original source files must be used: these are available from the Communications
Department.

Licensed distributors may use the Brembo logo only after prior special authorisation from Brembo
Communications Department, and only in accordance with the instructions contained in the relevant
guidelines.

APPLICATION ON COLOURED BACKGROUNDS
The Brembo logo maintains red wherever there is adequate contrast with the background and there is
no clash with the colour. In all other cases (backgrounds of similar intensity or irregular photographic
backgrounds), the logo is reproduced in white, taking care to ensure adequate contrast.

In case of black-and-white printing, the Brembo logo is reproduced black: 100% K or PMS Black.
